The weekend is almost here

I'm so ready for the weekend to start. We get out of work early today (2:00pm) well we get out early every Friday now so of course I sit here waiting anxiously every Friday until 2:00 hits. But anyway I have some exciting weekend plans. I'm celebrating my birthday with Tom this weekend because he will not be here the weekend of my birthday. He will be at a car show that whole weekend of course just like he is every single year so whatever! My birthday is on a boring Sunday anyway so I guess I wouldn't do anything anyway. Plus on my actual birthday we are celebrating Micheal's 21st birthday. I forget why they are doing it like that but we have our birthdays confused this year because Micheal's birthday is really this Sunday the 27Th but I'm celebrating mine this weekend and he is celebrating his on mine. Isn't that funny?!?! Oh well

But anyway, Tom and I are going to A.C. we are leaving sat. early afternoon sometime then coming home on Sunday. I'm pretty excited to go, it will be fun. We have plans to go to dinner and then the rest we will just do whatever and squeeze some gambling in between. LOL!

Also, Gina's playhouse that Tom and I bought her for her birthday comes in today so guess what Daddy is doing when he is done work...... LOL! But I'm really excited for her to see it. She is going to LOVE IT!!!! And you know my butt will be in that playing right along with her LMAOOOO Hey I never had one when I was a kid so I'm reliving that now.LMAOOOOOOOO!

Its a goofy kind of day

So I'm just sitting around doing some work and my phone alerts me that I have a pic message. I look at the phone number of who its from and its Steph's cell. Now when she usually sends me pics its usually of her kiddies looking cute but today that wasn't the case.....

She claims her brain is fried....I think she just likes taking goofy pictures of herself. LOL! I guess it lightens up the day huh! I'm proud to call her my BFF

As you can tell from the pics above Gina had a really good time at her birthday party!!! All of her friends and family were there to help celebrate Gina turning two!!! Even some of her friends from daycare were there which she was thrilled to see them. All of the kids had such a great time and I even think the adults had a good time also. Elmo and Cookie were a big hit....All of the kids loved them and they were really good with the children. They did a bunch of songs and dances with the kids and gave out little prizes and Elmo gave Gina a present and she loved that. I think my favorite part was Gina's birthday parade, how neat was that?!?! Gina was the leader of course with Elmo and Cookie and then all of her little friends right behind her!! But over all the whole party was awesome! I'm so glad I did that for her birthday. She got a lot of really nice gifts too! Now my little girl is 2.......

Tomorrow July, 18th is Gina's Birthday! I can't beleive she is 2 years old already. Since I'm not going to be here tomorrow because I will spending the day with Gina I decided to post this today.

It is still so fresh in my mind July 17th 2 years ago that I went into labor. Not knowing what to expect and then 16 hours later on July 18th having my baby girl!!!! Gina is the best thing that has ever happened to me and she makes me so happy each and everyday. I love you so much!

Daycare Drama

For awhile now everything has been going really good at Gina's daycare. I have had absolutely no complaints and that is because Gina has 1 awesome teacher out of 3. Well They are all pretty okay in their certain areas but Raechel is just outstanding and Gina loves her Raechel! So last week we had to take Gina to the hospital because she was sick and she was diagnosed with Croup/Viral Infection well Gina also has asthma but she has viral induced asthma that kind of asthma that only flares up when she is sick so she doesn't have it all the time. she will grow out of this. So since she has the viral infection right now of course her breathing is a bit wheezy at times so in order to keep her asthma under control we need to give her a breathing treatment a couple of times a day right now because of being sick. Once she is done coughing and all that she is off of it. So I need to bring her neubulizer in everyday at daycare because she needs to get at least 1 treatment while she is there. The other two teachers Stacey and Raechel are awesome at giving this to her and making sure she takes it. So to get on with the story, yesterday I picked Gina up from school and since Raechel is on vacation this week another teacher named Heather(which I really like) at the school is filling in for her. So yesterday afternoon it was Nicole(normal teacher) and Heather. As soon as I walk in Heather says to me "You may want to give Gina another treatment when she gets home because while we were outside she was coughing a lot." I said Okay and thank you very much for telling me. I made sure I said it real loud so Nicole could hear me because she never tells me anything about my child unless I pull it out of her. She is a nice girl but very quiet. So while I'm getting all of Gina's things together I look at the paper where we have to sign for medication if our child needs to take it and then when the teacher gives the meds they sign off on it and they also tell you the time it was done. Well guess what I see no signature at all. Well that is not the first time that has happened where they did give her the med but forgot to sign the sheet. So I look into Gina's bag and I see her med in there never even opened nothing...Now I'm pissed!! I said to Nicole "Nicole, Gina never even had her medication today!!" She said "What time was she supposed to get it?" I said "3:00" She was like "OMG I forgot about it" "I say "You forgot about it?!?! How do you forget a child's medication" Nicole "Well we got really busy in here today and things were crazy" Me" Not my problem nor Gina's problem so since you were busy and crazy sorry Gina you can't breath right today?!?!?" "Now I know why Gina was coughing so much on the playground cause she never had her medication". Well she apologized a lot but I just thought to myself this is bullshit! This is my daughters health we are talking about and I'm not letting this shit go! So of course when I left the classroom I was going to talk to Kim about it one of the directors but she was gone so I will talk to her today when I pick Gina up. I did tell the other teacher Stacey this morning about it and asked her to please remind Nicole this afternoon to do it. I will also be calling there at 3:00 to make sure she is getting it. Unreal! So that is my latest daycare drama....But I also found out good news from the daycare yesterday...my cousin Lisa is going to be in Gina's classroom in the Fall!!!!!! Yayyyyy!! I'm so so excited about that! My cousin will be with Gina everyday! Now watch something will happen from now to then where it will change. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Ready for the weekend!

I'm so ready for the weekend. This week has felt so long and I'm ready for it to end. Gina's birthday is next week so I'm really excited about that. On her actual birthday (Friday) We will be taking her to the Zoo but if it rains we will probably go to Giggle berry Fair at Peddlers village. I hope it doesn't rain though cause I really want to take her to the zoo she is so into animals and also because Lisa, Ian and Gwenn will be joining us if we go to the zoo. So Gina's last day at daycare that week will be Thursday, so she will be celebrating with all of her friends there. Gees, Gina is going to be celebrating her birthday for 3 days next week!!! I'm trying to decide what I want to bring into daycare that day to celebrate. A cake???? cupcakes???? I have no idea. Maybe I will do cupcakes. Then next sat. is her big party!!!! I'm really excited about this can you tell?!?! LOL! Elmo is going to be there and possibly Cookie Monster!!! Which reminds me the lady at Bouncing Off The Walls was supposed to get back to me to let me know if Cookie was able to come but she never did so I guess I will be calling her today.
So my weekend plans are ordering Gina's Elmo cake this weekend (not sure from where yet) then we have Anthony's 1st birthday party tomorrow!!! Then Gina will be spending the night at Mom Mom's house sat.night because the G4L Car Show is sat. morning and I will be getting up EARLY for that. But Gina will be visiting me at the car show that day. So we have a jammed packed weekend ahead of us....I actually haven't had one in awhile so its okay. I'm sure I will be blogging about it come Monday.

4th of July Update

We had a blast on friday at my Uncle Kevin's house who hosted 4th of July this year. Their was so much good food I think I ate a weeks worth well not really but I did eat alot. Gina had a blast and was so good!! Of course her favorite Gwenny was there so she was thrilled about that and she loves her Aunt Lisa. But Gina kept up with all of the kids and was even playing bat mitten with Gwenn well in their own way....it was to cute! They enjoyed laying on the hammock while Daddy pushed them and they had their own little conversation it was too cute! I can't beleive how much Gina has grown since last year. All in all it was a very good day and then the rain started of course....but it least the rain held out until night time when it was time to go home anyway. We did go to Falls Park to see the fireworks which were pretty good and Gina loved them!!! I know I posted in my last blog that I wasn't sure because last year she was so little but she did like them!
Sat. we pretty much just hung out at home most of the day then we went over to Sesame Place to have dinner and then to watch the fireworks. Well we made it to the dinner part then we were getting ready to go back outside so Gina could go on some rides before the fireworks but then it started to downpour really bad. We just hung out in one of the gift shops for awhile until it stopped which it did finally but it was awhile, as we were walking through the park to head out to the car yup started to downpour again......we were soaked, poor Gina was soaked!!!!! So that ended our night!
Sunday we went and got Gina's 2 year old pictures done and they turned out so cute!!!!! And she was cute, very demanding but cute. The photographer would sit her a certain way to take her pic and Gina would say "no I sit this way" and she would sit the way she wanted.....it was funny. Finally I had to just tell the photographer to let her sit the way she wants because she wan't going to pose and stay that way especially at "2". Gina poses anyway for pictures so when I post them you will she the way she is posing is the way she wanted to sit but they turned out good!!

So nothing much has really happened since my last post, but I feel like I need to write a little update today. First off all of us have been doing really well. Busy because its the summer and lots to do but I wouldn't have it any other way. Gina is doing GREAT! and continues to grow more with her vocabulary and doing new things every day. She now counts to 10 and she says her ABC's but only up to "G" but if I continue saying it and stop in the middle she says the next letter! She is really just so smart and I'm constantly getting compliments from her teachers about how smart and advanced she is for her age. Almost 2 and her vocab is outstanding! Mommy is so proud of you Gina!!!
Gina now has a new little cousin Francesca Pauline Tuccillo who was born on June 20Th. She is so cute and looks nothing like her big sister Gabby. I will admit after holding her a couple of times I do have baby fever...Its funny because I will say to Gina, "Do you want a sister or brother and she looks at me and says "No" LOL!!
We also found out my brother is going to have a baby!!!! Bridget is now 7 weeks pregnant as of today and her due date is 2/18/09. Would be pretty cool if he or she were born on the due date too because Gina's birthday is 7/18 so they would both be on the 18Th just different months. I can't wait until she founds out what she is having so I can start buying he/she lots of stuff!
Friday is 4Th of July! I love 4Th of July it is one of my favorite holidays. We are going to my Uncle's house and maybe he has some fireworks this year. He usually gets them.
Sat. evening we are going to take Gina to Sesame to have fun and then they will have fireworks at night. I'm curious to see how she acts towards them this year. Last year she was still so young to realize, but she is a pretty fearless child so I think she will be fine. I'm so ready for the 3 day weekend!
Little Anthony's Birthday is on Thursday!!!! He is going to be the big 1!!!! what a special year for him and we will be seeing him on the 12Th to help celebrate his special day. Then next is the terrible two'ssssssssss......Yeah I bet your crying now Steph huh?!?! J/K!
