Last Day of March and Weekend Update

Today is the last day of March WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! I hope April brings us nicer weather. And since tomorrow is April 1st (April fools day!) Everybody better watch out!!! LMAOOOO! J/K I'm not going to play any pranks on anybody. I should though cause its so much fun! LOL!

This weekend was a nice one. The weather wasn't to bad and no rain so thats good! We basically stayed in all weekend cause Gina's been sick. Congestion and runny nose, so we didn't make it to swim class this weekend. Thats okay because Steph told me they did the same stuff we did 2 weeks ago and Gina is doing so much better so I'm glad I didn't take her. I got alot of cleaning done this weekend......It always makes you feel good when your place is clean! Not that my place is always dirty. I clean everyday, but I really went around and did heavy heavy cleaning. I even cleaned out the closets and just threw crap away that I haven't used. I love throwing stuff away!! LMAOO! Well thats all for my blog today. Nothing to exciting.

All About Easter

Gina was sooooo cute this year!! Well she is so cute all the time but now that she is getting older it was so cute to watch her and how excited she got. Gina had her 1st Easter egg hunt yesterday and she did very well. Earning a big $30.00!!!! Well all 3 of the girls got that cause we have to keep it fair and even. Gina got sooooo many gifts....and I mean alot! I think it may have been pretty close to Christmas. Her party at school on Friday was alot of fun also! Her cousin Gabriella came with us and Gina was so happy to see her. She loves her cousin Gabby! Gabby had a ton of fun and she got along with all of the other kids very well. She got to eat all the special goodies that they had and she made a mess of herself. She was covered in all kinds of food. But they had fun and thats all that matters. And her mother didn't seem to mind either. Sat. was a day for bumming around and getting some wash and cleaning done and dying easter eggs which was a disaster!!! Thank god I put towels down because forget it our carpet probably would have been done!! LOL! But our Easter Holiday turned out great!!

Yay for Friday. And venting

So happy its friday and I have a 1/2 today too!!!! Yeah so I'm supposed to be leaving work at 12:00 thats my 1/2 day and guess what I know Iwill not be getting out at 12:00 today because my boss is here and all of a sudden she has all this work for me. She has been here all week and had nothing for me, but now all of a sudden she has all this work and needs it before I leave. Well the amount of work she gave me won't allow me to leave here today at 12:00. I swear she does this crap on purpose because she gets off on it. How annoying!!
Anyway, I'm happy it is Friday and I don't have to see this place until Monday.

Happy 1st Day of Spring!!

Today is officially Spring. Does it feel like it????? NOOOOOOOO!! I know the weather doesn't change instantly, but I would really like it too. I'm so sick of this weather. I hate taking Gina out in this windy cold crap weather. Oh well what are you going to do about.......
So yesterday My mom stayed home with Gina and I meet them at the doctors for a follow up from being at the ER on Sunday. I explained to the doctor Gina's diagnoses from the hospital and how I was confused because she has no congestion. He informed me that those symptom don't always appear with a URI Virus and that the symptoms were probably just what they were and that is a very sore throat, feeling crappy and possibly an ear infection. He looked in Gina's ear and sure enough in her left ear she has an infection and he said it was very red. I explained how they looked in her ear at the hospital and they said they didn't see anything but he said she at the time 4 days ago she probably didn't have one yet and in between that time it just developed. So Gina is on an antibiotic to clear it up. This is now her 3rd ear infection within 2 months. 2 in her left ear and 1 in her right. And her left ear is the one where the tube is still good, her right ear the tube is out of the canal but just hanging out in her ear somewhere. Poor Gina..... who did she inherit all the crap from anyway?!?!? I think it is Tom's sister Danielle. She always had problems with her ears when she was younger. Next time I see her I will have to kick her ass!! J/K (Maybe?)
So Gina is now on the road to recovery and this is the way I want to start thinking...Of course I will always have pity for my daughter when she is sick because what mother wants to see their child in pain and suffering. But I want to start having more of a positive outlook on things instead of dreading the next time when Gina gets sick or omg what kind of sickness is she going to get now???? Because you know what half the time you think like that and your giving that type of energy out its going to happen. So I'm going to think positive about her being healthy and feeling good all the time. When she does get sick I will deal with that then and not start thinking about it before hand.
Today was Gina's first day back to daycare since last friday. Everyone was so excited to see her including her little friends. It was so cute how they were yelling her name and saying Gina's back!! So one of Gina's teachers come up to me and said their is a note in Gina's cubby that you are really going to like (sarcastically) I'm like oh no what?!?! She tells me how hand, foot and mouth disease was exposed in Gina's classroom. I was like oh great exactly what I would like to hear on Gina's first day back from being sick. So of course I'm driving to work and thinking about this and I'm saying I'm going in to work and I will look it up on the computer. Now that is a big no no for me because I have done it in the past and you drive yourself crazy. The internet is not always great for things like that. Now remember what I said above about putting out good energy so I'm not going to do it and I'm not even going to think about it. If it happens I will deal with it at that time.
Tomorrow is Gina's St.Patty's/ Easter party at school! I have a 1/2 day at work and I can't wait to spend that extra time with her at her daycare having fun!!!

Weekend Update

So this past weekend was a busy one. Sat. morning I took Gina to her first swimming class and Mom Mom came along with us. We also meet Stephanie, Brit and Leann there too. It was so much fun!!! And Gina looked adorable in her little bathing suit. When we first sat down on the ledge of the pool and only our feet were in the water Gina was fine she was splashing away with her feet, and then came time to get into the pool. At first she gave me a little bit of a problem and just hung on to my neck for a little while. But once I showed her everything was okay she was totally fine. Then we sang some songs and did cute little water things to go with them, like splashing with the feet and hands and then they did Humpty Dumpty and this was Gina's favorite, where they sat on the wall and we had them "jump" in. She LOVED that part. The only part we did not participate in was going under water. I jus feel it is too soon for that and honestly I'm a little afraid with her having tubes. But I didn't want to do that to her on the 1st class. Then it was time to get out and Gina did not want to. By then she was used to the water and was having so much fun. But we did, got dressed and home we went.

I figured since it was such a nice day out on sat. I would take Gina to get her Easter pics done. So we ate lunch and took a nap that way she would be refreshed. After we got up and started to get ready I decided to first call Babies-R-Us to make sure their machine wasn't down, because I have done that 2 times already where I got Gina all ready went all the way up their and oops sorry our machine is down and we don't know when it will be back up. So thank god I did call because they said their was a long wait and they didn't have anything available until 6:30pm. I didn't care for the time but oh well I wanted to take her that day because the weather said it was going to be crappy on sunday. But anyway, Gina did such a great job with her pictures. We were not there long at all because she was so great. She smiled for every single picture and was just so cute!!!! Even when it was time to pick the pictures that I was going to get (which was VERY HARD) she was great!!!! And I love her pictures! She is just sooooo cute!!!

So sunday comes and Gina wakes up fine, but as the day goes on she started not to feel good and it just got worse and worse. Now she wasn't eating or drinking,because of that she didn't have any wet diapers, she was crying so hard like something was hurting her, like she was in some kind of pain. The first thing I thought of was omg her ears. She has a bad ear infection or something. Then she started to drool really bad so okay I thought maybe she is getting her 2 yr old molars in. Well the crying just kept getting worse and worse so Tom and I made a decision to take her to St. Mary's because they have the special Ped. Unit now just for kids. The wait actually wasn't bad at all. So back we went where Gina was fine until the nurses come in to look in her ears, take her blood pressure and her temp. They took it rectal and I felt soooooooo sorry for her I have never done Gina's temp. that way only because I just can't. I know I wouldn't like something stuck up my ass, plus I just can't bring myself to do it. Well of course at the hospital they want to because you get an exact reading and blah blah blah. Well the temp they got that way was the same as the one I got in her ear earlier. 101.7.

They did a throat culture for strep and they did a nose culture to see if she had the flu. They all came out negative and even her ears were fine. So what the heck is it?!?!! They diagnosed her with an Upper Respitory Infection Virus. I'm just so confused and still am because she has no congestion what so ever!!!! No cough, no boogies what the hell?!?! They did see that her throat was pretty raw so that is probably what was making her so uncomfortable. I have never seen Gina act this way before when she has been sick and she gets sick pretty often because of daycare, but never has this happened.

But as of today she is doing a little better. Still a little cranky but it is to be expected and it is going to take a little while to get over. We go and see her Ped. tomorrow. I can't wait to hear what they have to say. My poor baby......I feel so sorry for her!!!!

Silliness

So me and Gina were just hanging out at home last night and we were being so silly. Last night was a night that I got dinner done early, Gina got her bath so I just wanted us to hang out and do what ever instead of trying to clean all night long which is usually what it is because I will clean up once during the night and its a mess again 10 min. later. So last night I said screw it about the mess and we had fun........We danced to A.I., we took pics of us . Of course they turned out crappy because they were taken from my phone. LOL!! But anyway we just had so much fun being goofy.

Weekend Update

So this weekend (Sat.) I registered Gina for swimming. I can't believe its this sat. coming up that they start already. I'm kind of nervous and excited at the same time. I think she will be fine because she loves her bath so much. So Gina wakes up this morning with red cheeks. She usually gets red cheeks when she is starting to get sick. Well I had a funny feeling this was going to happen since we are starting swimming classes this sat. Hopefully this time its just a fluky thing with them getting red because I don't want to miss the first class! I called to check on her at daycare today and they said she was fine and wasn't acting different but then again are they really paying attention to her...... She has been doing so good w/out getting sick. She has had so much sickness in her little body because of daycare that its about time she gets a break because for awhile it seemed like poor Gina wasn't getting a break
So sat. weather was terrible! Of course I pick that day to do most of my running around. I went food shopping and when I came out it wasn't raining at that time. But the moment I got to my car, total down pour. Of course right! It couldn't have waited until I got my groceries in the car. LOL!!!
Sunday was Anthony's christening and he looked so handsome! He was such a good baby the whole time too. You didn't hear a peep out of him in the church and then we get to the restaurant he slept most of the time. He was so good!
So Gina's party is going to at Bouncing off the walls this year. Ever since we went last week and she loved it so much I decided to do it there. And this way if it happens to rain my mom won't have a house full of people and kids that don't have anything to do. The only thing is it's at a weird time. 6-8pm on the 19th of July. But the more I think about it the more I'm liking the time because all the kids would have their naps, they can eat dinner, its summer time so it will still be light out. It doesn't get dark in the summer until 9:00pm, and we will be the last party so we don't have to rush right out for another party coming in. I think it will be fine. And the best part is Elmo will be there. I can't wait to see the look on Gina's face when he comes walking in. But this place is going to do the all the decorating and do the whole Elmo theme too!!! It is so worth it to have a birthday party at this place.
And now we are back to crappy Monday and work! I can't wait for the weekend again!

So yesterday me and Gina played hookie and we went to Bouncing Off the Walls and she had sooo much fun!!! I can't wait to take her back. I will tell you though, I was ready for a nap by the time we were done. LOL!! I posted the pics of Gina having FUN! They all posted above I don't know why.

After we went to visit Mom Mom at work and then we went to have lunch. So Gina had a pretty big day so she took a really long nap. LOL!! But then later we got some company. Grandmom Denee, Aunt Nell and Gabby came over. The both of them were very good playing with each other.

So this weekemd is the weekend to register Gina for swimming. I can't wait!!! We are going to have so much fun!! Then sunday is my friends son christening. That is going to be so much fun also!

A Pretty Nice Tuesday

The weather has been great for the past 2 days!!! Today it got up to like 70. A little cloudy because I think its going to rain later on but I would rather be outside today then stuck inside here at work!!
So I spoke to Gina's ENT yesterday and to my amazement he said Gina is able to go swimming w/out ear plugs......He said as long as I put in her ear med. right after she will be fine. Okay great then!!! I was so scared he was going to call back and say no I would rather her not go swimming. I think I'm still going to buy the ear plugs though and try them cause I really don't want water to get in her ear. She probably won't keep them in, but it least now I know if she doesn't it will be fine. Actually I think I will google it to see if I can read anything about it, which is probably the worst thing I can do is to read about it cause then you always come across those horror stories online and being a girl of course I'm going to read it cause I'm nosey and then what happens.....Out comes worry wart Angela. I always do this to myself. You would think I would learn by now. LOL! My mom is always yelling at me, but she is the same exact way!! LOL!
So tonight A.I. is on. Its been hard for me to just sit down and watch it but I catch some of it and I have to say I really don't have a favorite yet.I do like the youngest boy that is in the competition. He seems sooooo sweet and genuine. Does it seem kinda of boring this year or is it just me? I think they need to do something to spice it up again because I think less and less people are going to watch it next season if its going to be the same way.
Oh and what about Paradise Hotel?!?!?! I love that show!!!!! The first time it was on I was so addicted and I'm still addicted. I just hate that we have to wait now until next week to see who leaves. That new girl is so annoying! But you know she will be safe since she is the new girl. I don't know who I want to leave. Oh well have to wait until next week now.
Time to get back to work now.....LOL!

Well Its Monday...Blah!

Had a great weekend! Got to hang out with my girls for a little bit on Sat. Went out to dinner with Steph, Ang and her daughter Melanie and Gina came with me also. Had a good time!! Then went to Target afterwards to get the girls their bathing suits for swimming classes that start in 2 weeks. Of course we left Target with bags of stuff instead of just bathing suits. LOL! But now I have to talk to Gina's doctor about her taking swimming classes. It dawned on me Sat. that OMG Gina has tubes!!! So I want to speak to him first to see what he says which he will probably recommend her getting ear plugs. I just hope that she will keep the ear plugs in. So lets see how long it takes for him to call back.
Sunday was a good day. Did lots of cleaning ( I can hear you guys saying and thats a good day?!?! LOL!) But yes it was because I really had to clean and just wanted to disinfect everything from us being sick. And now back to yucky Monday. I really don't have any complaints about today. Its been an okay day and this weather is crazy. I would like for it to stay this way, but we all know that won't happen.
